March 23, 2003 - There is only one marathon whose course is completely contained in the District of Columbia and offers marathon runners the opportunity to run through the unique and special neighborhoods that haven't been featured in a marathon in the last 20 years! That's right, it's the DC Marathon. And Metro TeenAIDS is the official charity of the 2003 DC Marathon. We have lots of ways to get involved! - Screening of the
critically acclaimed "Journey's With George" by Alexandra Pelosi. This film, which premiered on HBO, documents the behind-the-scenes drama of the 1999 Bush Campaign as seen from the press corps that spent a year following him from Governor to President. Please join the artist, Alexandra Pelosi, Richard Wolffe, formerly of Financial Times, and other stars of the film for an after-screening Q&A. Details to follow. |
