The HIV Prevention Fund provides a powerful, targeted way to invest in the HIV-prevention programs at Metro TeenAIDS. Every dollar that you contribute to this fund goes directly to programs that prevent new HIV infections among young people in the Greater Washington, D.C. area.The goal of youth HIV prevention is simple. By giving young people the information and the skills they need to protect themselves from infection, we can save lives and create a healthier future for the next generation. Yet, the reality of HIV prevention for youth is complicated. For HIV-prevention programs to work, we must have sufficient resources to effectively reach out to those teens who are most at-risk for infection.
